Greetings Flipnote artists and fans. This is Aaron at Hatena in Kyoto, Japan with the weekly news.

Next month will mark the third anniversary of the launch of Flipnote Hatena in Japan, where service began on December 24, 2008. We hope to bring you some fun events in the upcoming weeks to celebrate this occasion.

This week we have a new weekly topic that we hope will entertain and inspire you. If you haven't yet posted a weekly topic Flipnote now is your chance. It's fun to share your creativity and skills with the Flipnote Hatena community.

This week we would like you to create Flipnotes about concerts. Create your own original band and animate them performing. Make stories about funny things happening at concerts. Classical, jazz, opera, punk, or rock and roll -- the choice is yours!
