"Holiday Wishlist" Flipnotes from the Europe and Oceania region:
★ One of the fun things about the holidays is receiving gifts. However, sometimes the gifts you receive are unexpected! In this Flipnote by Dark Link (id:Darklink) you'll be surprised at what comes hopping out of the gift box!
★ One of the most dangerous human emotions is greed. History has shown that too much greed can get you into trouble. When Junior wishes for too much this holiday season, Santa gets upset. This Flipnote by SuperCesco (id:SuperCesco) reminds you you keep your wishes simple.
★ Here is a short animation by ∴•NINI•∴ (id:Schnurpel) that is sure to make you laugh. The character in this Flipnote opens their present and gets much more than they wished for. Be sure to play this back in loop mode for the best effect.
★ Remember that the holidays are not just a time to receive presents -- it is also important to give something to others. Sonicwolf (id:sonicwolf) wishes that his/her fans get 100 stars each on Xmas. How nice!
★ MdM (id:MdMbunny) made a wonderful wish for the holidays. He wishes happy holidays to all the people in the world who can't afford one. Remember to think about the people in the world who are having difficulties this year, and send your love and wishes to them.
"Holiday Wishlist" Flipnotes from the Americas region:
★ We really liked this Flipnote by Riley (id:Samels) with smooth animation and lots of attention to detail. The Flipnote starts with a Christmas tree, and transforms into a holiday wish-list. The idea of selecting and dragging the parts of the Nintendo DSi was very clever too!
★ It is nice to wake up in the morning to snow. It is even better when you are a student, because it sometimes means that school will be canceled! We liked the idea by lawlz! egl (id:whooohoooyea) to use a photograph taken with the Nintendo DSi Camera for the outside world. What do you do when school is canceled -- make Flipnotes all day?
★ This Flipnote by gizmo (id:kingboo7) has a storyline that made us laugh, and we hope it will make you laugh too. The animation style, and the use of sounds in this Flipnote was also very well done. Remember to be careful what you wish for this holiday season -- it might come true!
★ We liked the cute "Norwegian Climbing Dog" song and animation by RG♪ (id:RGLOVE). The song is very catchy and it will leave you wanting a Norwegian Climbing dog too. The goat was cute too.
★ One thing that people wish during the holidays is love. If you should meet someone when passing under Mistletoe, you may get a kiss. Frogs need love too, and sometimes they will even turn into princesif you kiss them! Check out this cute Flipnote by Paul (id:QuickDraw) about Frogs during the holidays.
"Holiday Wishlist" Flipnotes from Japan:
★ The young girl in this Flipnote by Mumu (^W^#) (id:ANIYOKO) thinks to herself:
"What should I get for a Christmas present?"
"A stuffed animal?"
"Clothes"
"Gloves"
"A Nintendo DSi?!"
"Yes, a Nintendo DSi!"
★ This beautifully drawn Flipnote by suirei (id:mikisama0421) got our attention. A character takes a stroll on a cold evening and encounters a Christmas tree. The flickering lights bring warmth and peace to the character when it's dark and cold outside.
★ After you have made a wish for a present, it is sometimes delivered to you while you sleep. We liked the sound and animation is this short animation by Liras. Remember to be good this holiday season, and your wish might come true!
★ This Flipnote had very nice illustrations that caught our eye. A young witch appears in this Flipnote by Chaima (id:kkwawan). Usually a witch wishes for scary things, but this witch transforms into something else for the winter holidays.
2
★ This Flipnote by Reina (id:kokomoru) begins at a pet shop, where a young girl sees a dog that she wants. Unfortunately, the family already has a cat, so her mother says "No". Later, her mother gives her a dog stuffed animal instead. Remember that not all wishes can come true, and sometimes we must learn to compromise.
