Hello from all of us on the Flipnote Hatena team. This is Aaron at Hatena's offices in Kyoto, Japan with another edition of our weekly news blog.
This week we are pleased to announce the start of a new summer campaign at the Color Star Exchange where you can win limited edition themes. This campaign starts today and will continue until August 19, 2010 (Thursday). For more information please see the link below:

This week's new themes
The Flipnote team has created two new Creator's Room themes that are available in the Color Star Exchange this week. Below are some screenshots and details about the new themes.
- A theme inspired by summer days at the beach. (10 color stars)
- This theme features a Japanese rhinoceros beetle and a Hercules beetle. (10 color stars)
- This theme features colorful fireworks lighting up the summer sky. (20 color stars)

★ SnowyOwl (id:BurrowingOwl208) created this funny Flipnote about an artist who encounters some trouble with the fruit in the still-life he is painting.
★ We liked this Flipnote by Stef (id:stefstefstef) about a young girl who can't have her dessert unless she eats her vegetables.
★ This cool Flipnote by Excl (id:Toon__link) features an apple who protects a carrot from danger.
★ The phrase "You are what you eat" comes to life in this weird and humorous Flipnote by Jabels (id:Jabels).

★ SuperCesco (id:SuperCesco) created this funny Flipnote about two original characters named Bibo and Brubo.

Create Flipnotes about what you are doing for your summer holidays, or what you think is the ideal way to enjoy the summer.
