Greetings from all of us at Hatena in Kyoto. This is Aaron with another edition of our weekly news blog.

Today, many of the Hatena staff came to work dressed in costume to celebrate Halloween. Here's a photo from earlier today -- can you figure out what all of the costumes are?

New limited edition themes: Halloween Collection

From now until November 5, 2010 (Friday), you'll get one chance to win a prize for every 10 stars you exchange for themes in the Color Star Exchange. If you're lucky you might win a limited edition theme or limited edition simple theme.

This week's limited edition theme and limited edition simple theme are the last in the Halloween Collection series, and both feature witches.

This week's new themes

The Flipnote team has created two new Creator's Room themes that are available in the Color Star Exchange this week. Below are some screenshots and details about the new themes.

This frog from the late 1970's has patiently been waiting to be recovered inside a box in my mothers cellar. The daughters of my cousin and me found him while we where looking for old toys.
