Today we're pleased to announce that the "Make Your Own Mario Flipnote" event is now available for users in the Europe and Oceania region.
In addition, Nintendo has created a very special Flipnote called the "Mario Drawing Song" that you can view on Flipnote Hatena. Have you ever wanted to know how to draw Mario? Sing along to the "Mario Drawing Song" Flipnote as you draw the moustachioed hero! Tap on the "Make a Mario Flipnote" button on the top menu of Flipnote Hatena for Nintendo DSi to check it out.
This week we've got some great "Night and Day" Flipnotes posted by users all around the world, as well as a fun new topic for next week that we hope will inspire you.

Start of the "Make Your Own Mario Flipnote" special event for users in the Europe and Oceania region
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., we are asking Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL owners to create Flipnotes featuring characters from Super Mario Bros. The entries will be judged by well-known Nintendo names, including Shigeru Miyamoto himself! The winning animations will be revealed on the Nintendo of Europe website and on Flipnote Hatena for Nintendo DSi, so keep a look out!
Europe and Oceania region users can submit Flipnote Mario creations between November 19, 2010 and December 10, 2010.

The "Make Your Own Mario Flipnote" submission period ended on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 3:00pm for America region users. Thank you for all the submissions.
Users in the Americas region can now view the "Mario Drawing Song" in 3 different languages by tapping on the "Make a Mario Flipnote" button on the top menu of Flipnote Hatena for Nintendo DSi. We hope that you enjoy the "Mario Drawing Song", that was created with Flipnote Studio.

"Flipnote Monsters" competition for users in the Europe and Oceania region
All entries for the Flipnote Monsters competition must be submitted by November 21st, 2010 at 0:00 (CET).
The four best monster animations will be viewable on Flipnote Hatena for Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL and the Nintendo Channel in December.

New limited edition themes: Prehistoric Dinosaurs Collection
From now until December 3, 2010 (Friday), you'll get one chance to win a prize for every 10 stars you exchange for themes in the Color Star Exchange. If you're lucky you might win a limited edition theme or limited edition simple theme.
This week's limited edition theme and limited edition simple theme feature a Tyrannosaurus.

The Flipnote team has created two new Creator's Room themes that are available in the Color Star Exchange this week. Below are some screenshots and details about the new themes.
★ This theme features a meteorite burning its way through the galaxy. The design of the top screen display will change when you use this theme. (10 color stars)
★ Decorate your Creator's Room with this illustration of a teddy bear surrounded by flowers. The top screen display and the background on the lower screen will change when you use this theme. (20 color stars)
