How you get ideas for your Flipnotes, and how long does it usually take you to create them?
Many of my ideas come from sketching and practicing with Flipnote Studio. I also get inspired by watching animation, reading manga comics or just by being with my friends. All of these things help me to come up with new ideas.
What hobbies or interests do you have (besides making Flipnotes)?
I like to watch animation and spend time with my friends. I also like to play DS games, and I'm really looking forward to the release of the Nintendo 3DS!
Who are some of your favorite creators on Flipnote Hatena and why?
Some of my favorite creators are MdM (id:MdMbunny) and Ashie (id:Ashie ) because they're great creators, and HARRY (id:jago12-345) because he's always kind to his fans. I also like Flipnotes by Iikka, Sara, Orplie, Frans, Gogoku, Three D and many others!
There are many more creators that I like, but the list is too long to add here. Sorry if I didn't include your name.
Do you have any advice or tips for other Flipnote creators about how they can improve their skills?
If you want to improve your animation skills, I recommend that you watch a lot of animation or programs on television and pay good attention to every movement. You can improve your understanding of motion by watching people walk, talk, jump or any other movements they make.
I often watch animation on my computer with an application called VLC mediaplayer. When I see something in an animation that I like, I slow down the video to study the movements, and then try to recreate that motion in my Flipnotes.
What kind of Flipnotes would you like to create in the future? Are there any new things you would like to try?
I would like to make Flipnotes using speed 7. I hope that using the higher speed will let me create more realistic and smoother animations.
What are some additional features that you would like to have added to Flipnote Studio and/or Flipnote Hatena?
It would be so nice to be able to comment on or to download Japanese and American Flipnotes. I've seen so many interesting Flipnotes on my PC that I couldn't download.
Is there something you would like to say to the Flipnote Hatena community?
When I first started making Flipnotes I wasn't nearly as good as you might think I am now. Please have a look at my Creator's Room to see some of my older Flipnotes.
