It's nearing the end of winter here in Kyoto, and the Flipnote Hatena team has been staying warm by sitting close to our computers and adding stars to Flipnotes. 2011 seems to be moving ahead faster than a Flipnote playing on speed 8!

This week's topic: "Hats" (Feb. 25, 2011 - Mar. 3, 2011)
Open up your creative closet and create Flipnotes featuring hats and other headgear. Try to make Flipnotes with things such as baseball caps, beanies, berets, cowboy hats, fezzes, Pith helmets, sombreros, and top hats. Think about things such as magic hats, hats blowing in the wind, and hats with arms and legs running around to give you some inspiration. See where your mind and your stylus takes you!

This week's new themes
The Flipnote team has created three new Creator's Room themes that are available in the Color Star Exchange this week. Below are some screenshots and details about the new themes.
★ A design inspired by snow melting into water that brings spring flowers. (10 color stars)
★ This theme features a red-winged dragon girl. (20 color stars)
★A special theme where flowers and other decorations will appear as you post more Flipnotes. (50 color stars)
