Please tell us about yourself.
Hi everyone! My name is James, a.k.a. Jimbo and I'm 13 years old. I live in England. I have been making Flipnotes since last Autumn and I have improved quite a lot in a short time. I like making Flipnotes.
What are your interests or hobbies, and how do you spend your free time?
In my free time, I like to play squash or go cycling. I also love playing video games. I spend most of my evenings making Flipnotes, or browsing Flipnote Hatena. My favorite food is pancakes, hence the username "profpancake". I also like watching films or going swimming with friends.
Please introduce some of your best Flipnotes, and tell us why you like them.
★ "Mattress madness" - This was my most popular Flipnote! It is one of my older Flipnotes as well and is another loop of a boy jumping onto a mattress. Don't try this at home!
★ "To Ryan :D" - I made this one for my cousin Ryan. He is also a creator on Flipnote Hatena. This Flipnote took me about 3-4 days to make, and I got the idea of a falling sky from an cartoon I saw on the internet. I like the way Ryan falls out of the sky at the end with a loud crash. This has become a running theme with Ryan in my Flipnotes.
★ "Vortex" - I like the loop in this Flipnote. This took me about three days to make and it was a spin-off of a 3D spiral Flipnote pack.

★ Accidents can happen when you wear a hat on a windy day.
★ The idea behind this Flipnote is very clever. We enjoyed both the animation and the sound effects.
What techniques or skills are you especially good at in your Flipnotes? And what are some techniques or skills that you wish to improve?
My best skill is drawing characters. I'm quite good at drawing facial expressions. I also animate the characters so that there are two images repeated so it looks like the character is moving slightly. I am also quite good at including some humor in my Flipnotes.
I get a lot of inspiration from T.V. shows and Internet cartoons. I also like using sound effects in my Flipnotes. I would like to improve my skills at body movement. I also want to make more Flipnotes with a clever loop effect.
Please introduce some of your favorite Flipnote Hatena artists
★ ravin ryan (id:Ryanryan9) makes funny Flipnotes, and does awesome animations. He is also really good at making music.
★ N1K0 (id:N1K0) is very good at drawing. He can make amazing pixel art and is very good using the camera functions. His Flipnotes are often quite funny too. He is really great at making music with his mouth.
★ ryan (id:Scidmark) is also a very good artist making funny Flipnotes. He has very original ideas that always leave me rolling on the floor laughing.
★ mrjohn (id:mrjohn) is amazing at drawing and making very smooth and realistic animation. His Flipnotes often include many details, and humor. He is also very good at using the Nintendo DSi camera.
