Hello Flipnote creators and viewers all around the world! This is Aaron with the latest news about Flipnote Hatena.

Last week's topic about the North and South Pole was a good way to take a break from the scorching July heat. We hope that the Flipnotes we've chosen to introduce here will help to cool you down and entertain you. It was nice to see things in your Flipnotes such as polar bears, Santa Claus, penguins and icebergs during the month of July. We hope that you are enjoying your summer holidays in your parts of the world, and would like to thank all of you who posted about the weekly topic.

This week's topic is about a common everyday item that most people always have on their feet - shoes .

Try to animate things such as sneakers, sandals, high-heels, snowshoes, or platform shoes. You might even want to try to make Flipnotes about children's stories like "Cinderella" and her crystal slipper, or the "Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe".
