Greetings and salutations! This is Aaron at Hatena bringing you the latest from the funtastic world of Flipnotes!

The "Laughing" topic from this past week was quite popular, and over 900 Flipnotes were posted! We would like to express our thanks to all of you who created animations about the weekly topic last week (and to all of our readers too).

Today Nintendo will be announcing the first group of winners for the "Make Your Own Zelda Flipnote" contest. The winning Flipnotes will be posted later today on Flipnote Hatena for Nintendo DSi so keep an eye out. Get ready to see some amazing quality work!

You can also view the winning Flipnotes on the Zelda 25th Anniversary website, and they’ll also be viewable on Nintendo Channel and in Nintendo eShop very soon!

For more information about this event, please visit the Zelda 25th Anniversary site at your local Nintendo website.

That's all from us in Kyoto this week. We hope that you are enjoying October in your part of the world and we are looking forward to seeing your Flipnotes!
