Greetings Flipnote creators and fans. This is Aaron at Hatena in Kyoto, Japan with another Flipnote filled edition of the weekly news.
Technology makes things easier and has changed our lives in so many ways. When I was in school I used to doodle in the corners of my textbooks and make flipbook animations. Technology now makes it possible to do that electronically with tools like Flipnote Studio.
One thing that doesn't change is that you need to practice to be good at something. Creators who we interview for the Hatena Featured Artist often recommend that you practice as much as possible if you want to improve your animations.
I recommend that you try to create animations different from what every one else does. Each and every one of us is unique and we can express our uniqueness with our Flipnotes.
Even if you make a mistake or are not happy with the results of your work, that is not a problem. You haven't wasted any paper or ruined the corner of your textbook by making a Flipnote. On the contrary, you have probably learned something new that will help you to be a better animator in the future.
Why not try to make a Flipnote about the weekly topic? Every week we give you a chance to practice and try something new. We watch everything that gets posted about the weekly topic, and you are all stars in our eyes.
This week we have a fun new weekly topic that we hope that you will enjoy. Keep reading to find out more.
We are looking forward to seeing your Flipnotes!
