Flipnote Hatena Weekly News: Oct. 8, 2010

Hello from all of us on the Flipnote Hatena team. This is Aaron at Hatena's offices in Kyoto, Japan with another edition of our weekly news blog.

We'd like to express our thanks to all of you who posted Flipnotes about "Exercise" last week, and really enjoyed seeing all of your ideas about the subject. In Japan there is a holiday called "Sports Day" every year on the second Monday in October that exists to promote sports and an active lifestyle. Many Japanese schools celebrate this holiday with a sports festival with all kinds of events, that is called an "Undokai" in Japanese. You can see some of examples of these sports festivals in the Flipnotes posted by users from Japan this week. Also, we hope that last week's topic inspired all of you to get some exercise!

For this week's new topic we'd like you to create Flipnotes about "Dreams". The brain is very active even when we sleep, and can create amazing stories. Try to bring these dreams to life to share with others in your Flipnotes!

We're looking forward to seeing your Flipnotes, and thanks for checking out the Flipnote Hatena Weekly News!
