Please introduce yourself!
Hi, my name is Kasumi. I'm in the first year of junior high school, and I have a pet parakeet that I often feature in my Flipnotes. Recently I've been busy with my extra-curricular school activities so I don't have a lot of time to make Flipnotes.
How do you get ideas for your Flipnotes, and how long does it usually take you to create them?
I get ideas from things I see on television or from watching my pet parakeet. I don't know exactly how long it takes for me to finish one Flipnote.
I think it takes at least 30 minutes for me to create one of my shorter Flipnotes, and maximum of one week for the longer ones.
Who are some of your favorite creators on Flipnote Hatena and why?
I like the Flipnotes by Tamakoro (id:izumiizu). Her style of drawing and animating animals has been very helpful and inspiring for me when I make my own Flipnotes.
Do you have any advice or tips for other Flipnote creators about how they can improve their skills?
I suggest that you observe things around you very well when you draw. I often look at images on the Internet or in picture books while I am making my Flipnotes. It is also important to practice a lot too.
What kind of Flipnotes would you like to create in the future? Are there any new things you would like to try?
I would like to create Flipnotes that feature many types of animals. Also, I would like to make animations that move like the things I see in real life.
