Today's Hatena Featured Artist is Osushi (id:okappazusi) from Japan.
Editor's note:
"Osushi" is the polite form of the Japanese word "Sushi" (cooked rice that is usually topped with raw fish). Osushi's Hatena ID is "id:okappazusi", and "Kappa Sushi" is a sushi roll with cucumber in the center. (see photo below).
Kappa sushi is a good choice of sushi for those of you who can't eat raw fish.
Incidentally, the name "Kappa Sushi" originates from the mythical Japanese creature known as the "Kappa", a green monster that is said to live in lakes and rivers. Kappas are said to enjoy eating cucumbers, and cucumber sushi ("Kappa Sushi") was named after the legendary Kappa.

Hello everyone! My name is Osushi, but to tell you the truth I don't like sushi that much.

How do you get ideas for your Flipnotes, and how long does it usually take you to create them?
Usually, ideas comes to me out of the blue or while I'm taking a bath, or just before I go to sleep. It takes me about 3 to 5 hours to make my ideas into a Flipnote.

What hobbies or interests do you have (besides making Flipnotes)?
I like playing games such as puzzle games and shooting games. I enjoy reading comic books which I find at used book stores, and also, being on the computer.

Who are some of your favorite creators on Flipnote Hatena and why?
I think everyone is great, so it is difficult to choose any individual creators that are my favorites.

Do you have any advice or tips for other Flipnote creators about how they can improve their skills?
I think the most important thing is to enjoy creating Flipnotes, and have fun!

What kind of Flipnotes would you like to create in the future? Are there any new things you would like to try?
I'd like to try making Flipnotes with sound, and also keep creating Flipnotes inspired by my thoughts.
