Last week there were 1,819 Flipnotes posted about the topic "Eyes". We are happy to have had so many excellent Flipnotes posted, and would like to express our thanks to all of you that took part. We worked hard to watch all of the weekly topic Flipnotes, and in this week's blog we will feature some of our favorites.

This week's topic: "Wings" (May 13, 2011 - May 19, 2011)
This week we would like you to create Flipnotes that feature or include winged creatures or machines with wings. Try to animate things such as airplanes, birds, bugs, hang gliders, helicopters, Pterosaurs (flying dinosaurs) or anything you can imagine that has a pair of wings. Create Flipnotes about man's quest for flight, or maybe about the Greek myth of Icarus who attempted to fly with wings made from wax. We are looking forward to seeing all of your high flying creations!
Post the Flipnotes you create to the channel below from Flipnote Hatena on your Nintendo DSi.

The Flipnote team has created two new Creator's Room themes that are available in the Color Star Exchange this week. Below are some screenshots and details about the new themes.
