Please tell us about yourself.
Hello, I am Utopian. My favorite band is YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra). I started to use Flipnote because of Nintendo's "Make You Own Mario Flipnote" event. I always try to make Flipnotes that make people laugh.
What are your interests or hobbies, and how do you spend your free time?
These days, I am obsessed with Pokémon. It is a shame, but on my days off I usually just dream away and do nothing at all.
Please introduce some of your best Flipnotes, and tell us why you like them.
★ "Smile!" - I made this Flipnote for the "Weekly Topic: Smile". First I thought about situations where people smile, and came up with the idea of a photo shoot. Then, I thought it might be funny to use a girl who does not like being told to "smile". This is how it turned out.
★ "The Same Person" - This one was for the Weekly Topic, "Light and Shadow". I wanted to highlight the differences between day and night and plain and glamorous, by drawing the transformation of a woman.
★ "Pizza" - This Flipnote was featured in the Weekly News for the topic "Wild!". It was the first time I was featured in the news. My image of "wild" was a hardcore motorcycle rider with a leather jacket. It made me really happy when this was featured in the news!
What techniques or skills are you especially good at in your Flipnotes?
Well, I am not sure if I can say that I'm "good" at it, but what I like the most about making Flipnotes is thinking about how to make them. I like to think a lot about my stories and drawings. I also like creating sound effects and music.
What are some techniques or skills that you wish to improve in your Flipnotes?
While I was looking over my old Flipnotes, I noticed that there is not a lot of movement in them. Maybe I am not so good at animating, and try to avoid that.

These creators are all very funny and inspiring. I also really like Wowan (id:wowan927). She makes hilarious Flipnotes that sometimes make me laugh out loud.
