April 13 2012: Flipnote Hatena Weekly News

Hello, this is Aaron in Kyoto, Japan bringing you the latest news from Flipnote Hatena.

Today we added a 'News' button to the main menu of Flipnote Hatena for Nintendo DSi. If you tap on the 'News' button you can read important announcements from Hatena as well as the 'Flipnote Hatena Weekly News' and the 'Hatena Featured Artist'. We hope that this change will allow us to communicate better with everyone in the Flipnote Hatena community.

This week we have a fun new topic that we hope will inspire you to make some new animations. Keep reading to find out more.

Light (id:light3190) combined the Nintendo DSi Camera application and drawings to make this tree Flipnote.

★ We liked this Flpnote by ßC★671 (id:BC671) that shows the life of a tree over many centuries.

Najat.T.S (id:gold69) posted this cute animation about a playful bear and a tree.

cosmasque (id:cosmasque) made this great Flipnote about a young man and a tree.

★ A baseball player makes a strange hit in this Flipnote by Futaki Family (id:light-f).

★ We loved the beautiful drawings in this tree-themed animation by Foomin (id:wrbyno10).

♪YuRI♪ (id:yuri2) made this nice animation about the process of trying to grow a tree.

This week's topic: 'Circus'

This week we would like you to create Flipnotes about the circus. Animate wild animals, acrobats, clowns, flying trapezes, tightropes, strongmen or anything else you think you might see at a circus. See where your creativity takes you!
