Hello, this is Aaron in Kyoto, Japan with the latest news about the worldwide Flipnote Hatena community.
On early Monday morning there was a great view of an annular solar eclipse here in Japan. During this time the moon passed in front of the sun, leaving just a bright ring of light. Did you get a good view of the eclipse in your part of the world? The excellent photo above was taken by Hatena staff member id:dario in Osaka, Japan.

This week's topic: 'Puzzles'
This week we would like you to create animations about puzzles. Make stories about putting puzzles together or taking them apart, animate real puzzles with the Nintendo DSi Camera application, or create funny scenes about where lost puzzle pieces go. You might even want to bring puzzle pieces to life and have them dance around in your Flipnotes. All types of animations about puzzles can be posted -- don't limit yourself to just flat 2D puzzles. See where your creativity takes you!
