Hello, this is Aaron at Hatena's office in Kyoto, Japan with the latest news about Flipnote Hatena.
One of the best ways to create animation is to experiment. If you are stuck for new ideas try an animation or drawing style that you have never done before. For example, look at a simple object and see how many different ways you can draw it or make it move. Instead of drawing the way you usually do, try using different colors, different drawing tools, or use the Nintendo DSi Camera application to make animations. Your experiments might not always be successful, but you can certainly learn from your mistakes and become a better animator!
Early June to mid-July is the rainy season in Japan, and recently there have been many rainy days here in Kyoto. The new weekly topic is inspired by the rainy season, and we hope it gives you the motivation to create some new Flipnotes. Keep reading to find out more!
