You can now access the appropriate JavaScript file when applying the Hatena Star function.

Some users were experiencing difficulty accessing the appropriate JavaScript file when applying the Hatena Star function. This has now been corrected.

The error was caused when attempting to access the following files in order to apply the Hatena Star:

http://s.hatena.ne.jp/js/HatenaStar.js

http://s.hatena.com/js/HatenaStar.js

Both JavaScript files linked to the same contents regardless of what domain it was accessed from, resulting in all users being transferred to the Japanese site (s.hatena.ne.jp) and being prompted to login. This error occurred mainly on our English site when a user attempted to add a Star on an external blog through s.hatena.com.

With the new modification, the user will now be linked to the appropriate JavaScript file depending on the domain from which it is being accessed. So, English users will be linked to the English site and Japanese users will be linked to the Japanese site.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
