For many people in the world it's back to school season, or time to return to work, and we hope that you are doing well. Most of the Flipnote Hatena team worked hard all through the summer, and some members of our team are finally able to enjoy their hard earned vacations.
Since the launch of Flipnote Hatena in the United States and Europe last month, the skill level of users around the world has been increasing and the competition between Flipnote creators in the world has become fierce.
As a result, we've had a difficult time to choose our selections for this week's edition of the Flipnote Hatena official blog. Anyway, we've tried our best to show you of the best selections below.
Here are some of Hatena's favorite Flipnotes of the week:
★ We really enjoyed the fluid motion and color usage in this Flipnote of a Japanese style ghost by id:izumi-v.
★ This bizarre transformation by id:hukku7410 also caught the attention of the Flipnote Hatena team. Nice work!
★ We also liked this Flipnote by skjia (id:Skjia) about making the city a bigger place.
★ The fluidity of the animation in this Flipnote by by B`Liquid (id:Bimboliquido) really impressed us too. This is definitely a creator that we're going to pay attention to from now on.
★ We also really enjoyed this beautifully animated Flipnote by Matt(id:BifMcGee)that tells the story of a man transforming in a dolphin, a bird, and finally turning into a rocket.
This week's topic: "Back to school"
September is back to school season for many people in the world, so we've chosen "My feelings about going back to school" for this week's topic.
What changes will autumn bring for you? Even if you're not going back to school, try to express your feelings or goals for the coming months ahead in a Flipnote.
Post your Flipnotes about this topic by entering the command via "Command Search" from Flipnote Hatena on your Nintendo DSi. We'll introduce some of the best Flipnotes from around the world based on this week's theme in next week's official Flipnote Hatena blog.
The best selections from last week’s topic: “Memories of the Summer”
★ In Japan, there are fireworks events all over the country during the summer. ION(id:pinkstrawberry) has brought the feeling of summer fireworks festivals to life with this Flipnote.
★ The last Flipnote we'd like to introduce this week is a photo-realistic Flipnote by ('•') about a trip to an aquarium during the summer. Good job!
