Please introduce yourself.
Hello, my name is Youhei, and I am from Saitama Prefecture in Japan. I'm really happy to have this opportunity to be interviewed as the Hatena Featured Artist.
How do get ideas for your Flipnotes?
I like to draw sketches on a note pad when I am at work, and I get some ideas for my Flipnotes when I am doing that. Actually, I think I get most of my ideas for my Flipnotes from drawing, and not usually from just trying to think of good ideas.
What do you do in your free time?
When I'm not working, I live to go to video arcades and used bookstores. I enjoy playing quiz games and music games, and I like to read and draw comics. When I'm at home, I spend a lot of time on the Internet. I also enjoy listening to music.
What kind of Flipnotes do you want/like to create?
I usually create short Flipnotes that are made to playback well in loop mode, but I would like to make longer Flipnotes in the future. I would also like to create some Flipnotes with music or pictures.
What Nintendo DSi games have you played recently and which one is your all-time favorite?
Recently, I've been playing "Starship Defender" ("Starship Patrol" is the international name) which is a cool DSiWare game. It's hard to decide what is my all-time favorite game. If I choose by which games I have been playing for longest period, I would say "Beatmania." I've been playing Beatmania for more than 10 years!
Is there anybody you would like to greet or something you would like to say to the Flipnote Hatena community?
I'd just like to say that I think that Flipnote Studio is a great tool to easily create animation. I believe the best thing about Flipnote Studio is that you can make your drawings come to life! In addition, I would like to say thank you to all of the users who have given me stars and comments!
