Greetings Flipnote Hatena fans! This is Aaron with the latest news about Flipnote Hatena.
Today marks the 10th anniversary of the start of the Hatena company in Japan. Flipnote Hatena was released about 2 years ago, but Hatena itself has existed since 2001. We hope to bring you many more years of fun and creative online services, and would like to thank you all for helping make the past 10 years a success!
Thanks to all of you who posted Flipnotes with question marks to help us celebrate the 10th anniversary. We have a selection of your ? Flipnotes here that we hope you will enjoy.

This week's topic: "North Pole/South Pole" (July 15, 2011 - July 21, 2011)
This week we have an icy new topic to cool you off from the summer heat.
For this week's topic we would like you to take an imaginary trip to the north or south pole in your Flipnotes. Create cool Flipnotes with things you can find in polar regions of the earth, such as penguins, polar bears, icebergs, polar exploration teams, and snow and ice covered landscapes. Be creative and have fun!
