Please tell us about yourself.
Hello, everyone! My name is Niko and I'm from Finland. I have been on Hatena for almost one year since I got my wine red Nintendo DSi XL.
What are your interests or hobbies, and how do you spend your free time?
I really enjoy drawing and playing video games. Nowadays I use Flipnote Studio to draw and it's my only hobby! I like to spend most of my free time at home, chilling.
Please introduce some of your best Flipnotes, and tell us why you like them.
★ "Bla Bla" - This is one of my first music Flipnotes. The black hairy creature is called "Bla Bla" and it's my first character!
★ This flipnote is about the head of a robot. I think it's laugh sounds great and scary
★ "TILE" - TILE is my second character. Look at how cute he is!
★ "Robotron" - This flipnote was chosen as the Flipnote of the Week in the Flipnote Hatena Weekly News, and I'm really happy with it! This is my latest character called "Robotron".
★ "Sprite City" - I really enjoyed making this Flipnote. First I made the music, then I did the sprites and animated it. This Flipnote was featured in the Flipnote Hatena Weekly News too!
What techniques or skills are you especially good at in your Flipnotes? And what are some techniques or skills that you wish to improve?
I think music Flipnotes are my thing. I always enjoy making them! I have created over 10 music Flipnotes so far.
Another thing I'm good at is making characters. I have created three nice characters so far and maybe that's enough? I really would like to learn to use blue and red together. I have tried to make some Flipnotes with these colors but I think I'm not good enough yet. Sometimes I try to do 3D animations and some of them are good. That's the second thing I have to improve.
Please introduce some of your favorite artists on Flipnote Hatena
I know many great creators, but I'd like to introduce you four of my most favorite artists.
★ Joni (id:hattukatti) is one my favorite creators because all of his Flipnotes are so funny and all different. Joni answers my questions as soon as possible. He gives me fantastic support and I'm very happy to read his nice comments. Joni is from Finland too.
★ MdM (id:MdMbunny) is a very talented creator because his Flipnotes have so such smooth movement! I really like his music Flipnotes and characters!
★ Thr3 D (id:Swiggly) creates very funny Flipnotes and I'm really impressed about his sprite Flipnotes! Thr3 D's character is very nice and funny and I enjoy watching his adventures.
★ L45 (id:Lindion45) is a great creator and his Flipnotes are awesome. I like his stickman Flipnotes and funny sound effects. I hope his works become more popular, because they are all fantastic!
Is there something you would like to say to the Flipnote Hatena community?
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for being fantastic supporters. I'm really happy to do this interview. Flipnote Studio is one of the best pieces of software ever. I think there's nothing more to say. Keep up the good work, everyone!
